Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, approved two new alternative investment commitments totaling $70 million.
The $17.8 billion pension fund's investment committee approved commitments of $50 million to Invesco Credit Partners Fund III, a distressed debt fund; and $20 million to Brookfield Super-Core Infrastructure Partners Co-Investment Fund, an infrastructure fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management, at its Sept. 21 meeting, according to board meeting highlights emailed by spokesman Tim Barbour.
The pension fund previously committed $50 million to Invesco Credit Partners Fund II in 2020 and $50 million to Brookfield Global Transition Fund in 2022.
As of May 31, the actual allocations to global real assets and global private credit were 20.8% and 5.9%, respectively; their respective targets are 17% and 5%.
