Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, committed $17 million to GIP Edinburgh Airport Continuation Fund.
The $19.4 billion pension fund’s investment committee approved the commitment to the infrastructure fund managed by Global Infrastructure Partners at its Oct. 17 meeting, according to meeting highlights emailed by spokesman Tim Barbour.
SERS previously committed $15 million to GIP Pegasus Fund in April.
As of Aug. 31, the pension fund’s actual allocation to global infrastructure was 6.5%; the target is 7%.
