Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, committed $15 million to GIP Pegasus Fund.
The $18.5 billion pension fund’s board approved the commitment to the core infrastructure fund managed by Global Infrastructure Partners at its April 18 meeting, according to meeting highlights emailed by spokesman Tim Barbour.
Global Infrastructure Partners is an existing manager for the pension fund. Earlier this year, SERS committed $15 million to GIP Oak Co-invest III Core Fund Vantage Towers and $10 million to GIP CAPS II Lackawanna Power Plant Co-Investment.
As of Feb. 29, the pension fund’s actual allocation to global infrastructure was 6.4%; the target is 7%.
