Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, made three new commitments totaling $100 million, spokesman Tim Barbour said.
The $15 billion pension fund committed $50 million to Invesco Credit Partners Fund II, a distressed debt fund managed by Invesco Private Capital; $40 million to GoldenTree Distressed III Co-Investment, a distressed debt co-investment fund managed by GoldenTree Asset Management; and $10 million to Francisco Partners V Logan Co-Investment, a buyout co-investment fund.
SERS previously committed $50 million to GoldenTree Distressed Fund III and $30 million to Francisco Partners Credit Fund, both in 2019.
As of July 31, the actual allocations to global private equity, opportunistic and tactical strategies, and global private credit were 9.6%, 2.4% and 1.4%, respectively.
