Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, Columbus, approved two new commitments totaling up to $130 million.
The $16.9 billion pension fund's board approved commitments of up to $80 million to EnCap Energy Transition Fund II, a fund managed by EnCap Investments that specializes in energy transition and renewable power opportunities in North America, and up to $50 million to Putnam Hill Private Credit Fund, a core U.S. middle-market private credit fund managed by Putnam Hill Capital Partners, at its Sept. 27 meeting, spokesman David Graham said.
Both are new managers for the pension fund.
As of Aug. 31, the pension fund's actual allocations to real assets and private credit were 6% and 3.1%, respectively; their respective long-term targets are 8% and 5%.
