Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirement System, Columbus, committed $20 million to Partners Group Direct Infrastructure 2020, said Michael Press, chief investment officer and general counsel.
The $1.1 billion pension fund previously committed $20 million to Partners Group Direct Infrastructure 2016 in 2017.
As of Aug. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to real assets was 2.5%.
Separately, the pension fund made a follow-on commitment of $10 million to Harrison Street Core Property Fund, an open-end core real estate fund managed by Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, Mr. Press said.
As of Dec. 31, 2020, the pension fund had $22 million invested in the fund, according to its most recent comprehensive financial annual report.
As of Aug. 31, the actual allocation to real estate was 6%.
