Northern Ireland Electricity Networks, Belfast, hired a Deloitte subsidiary firm to provide pension advisory services.
Deloitte Total Reward and Benefits will advise the company on the management of its liabilities and its triennial funding valuations, according to a notice on European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily. The contract will run for six years.
The Northern Ireland Electricity Pension Scheme has £1.1 billion ($1.4 billion) in assets.
Northern Ireland Electricity Networks launched an RFP in September. Details on any previous provider was not available.
