Northampton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a custodian.
The $158 million pension fund issued an RFP due to the requirement of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission that it put the services up for bid every seven years, said David Shipka, retirement administrator, in an email.
Current custodian M&T Bank is invited to rebid, he said.
The RFP can be obtained by emailing Mr. Shipka. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on Oct. 2. The pension fund expects to make a decision in late October or early November, Mr. Shipka said.
