North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System, Bismarck, hired Callan as the first investment consultant for its $139 million 457 plan and $15 million 401(a) plan, said Bryan T. Reinhardt, procurement officer.
The retirement system issued an RFP in July for a consultant to analyze the core funds offered in its 457 Deferred Compensation Companion Plan and 401(a) Defined Contribution Plan on a quarterly basis and provide general guidance regarding the funds.
Callan will also assist in an eventual record keeper RFP sometime during 2022; TIAA-CREF is the plans' current record keeper.
