North Attleboro (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an active domestic core-plus fixed-income manager to run about $9 million.
The $150 million pension fund issued an RFP due to the requirement by the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission to put services up for bid every seven years, said Kevin Condy, director of research at investment consultant Dahab Associates, which is assisting with the search.
Current manager Brandes Investment Partners is eligible to rebid, he said.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due at noon EDT on Nov. 2. The pension fund plans to make a selection before the end of the year, Condy said.
