Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass., is seeking a midcap value equities manager to run $35 million to $40 million, and a small-cap growth equities manager to run $32 million to $40 million.
Wainwright Investment Counsel, investment consultant for the $1.2 billion pension plan, is assisting with the search.
The searches are being conducted to comply with state regulations requiring contracts be put out for rebid every few years, said Kathleen Kiely-Becchetti, executive director of the plan. Lee Munder Capital and Seizert Capital Partners are the current managers and are invited to rebid.
The RFPs are available on Wainwright's website. Proposals are due 2 p.m. EDT May 5. Ms. Kiely-Becchetti said she expects selections to be made no earlier than May 26.
