Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass., is searching for structured credit managers to run a total of up to $10 million.
The $1.3 billion pension fund is seeking proposals from managers with structured credit products offered in pooled funds only and will not consider mutual funds, according to an RFP posted on the website of investment consultant Wainwright Investment Counsel, which is assisting with the search.
The pension fund will not accept proposals for bank loans, core-plus fixed-income strategies, high yield, multisector/unconstrained fixed-income strategies, according to the RFP. The RFP does not disclose the reason for the search.
The RFP is available on Wainwright's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on May 31.
Patrick LePage, the pension fund's assistant executive director, could not be immediately reached for further information.
