Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass., is searching for an active international small-cap equity manager to run between $30 million and $40 million.
The $1.3 billion pension fund is seeking managers that offer developed markets equity strategies and may consider strategies that offer opportunistic allocations to emerging markets, according to an RFP posted on the website of investment consultant Wainwright Investment Counsel, which is assisting with the search.
The RFP says the target allocation to international developed markets equities is 10%, but did not disclose how the portfolio will be funded.
The RFP is available on Wainwright Investment Counsel's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Jan. 25. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
Patrick LePage, the pension fund's assistant executive director, and Gustavo Aristizabal, president and corporate secretary and investment adviser at Wainwright Investment Counsel, could not be immediately reached for further information.
