Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, is searching for active domestic opportunistic investment-grade fixed-income managers to run a total of up to $150 million.
The $1.5 billion pension fund is seeking proposals from active managers of domestic fixed-income strategies with at least 80% of the strategy in investment-grade bonds, according to an RFP posted on the website of investment consultant Wainwright Investment Counsel, which is assisting with the search.
The reason for the search was not provided in the RFP. Kimberly Davies, financial compliance analyst at the pension fund, could not be immediately reached for further information.
The pension fund's target allocation to fixed income is 15%.
The RFP is available on Wainwright Investment Counsel’s website. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. EST on Nov. 15. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
