NewMarket Corp., Richmond, Va., added three funds to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan.
The plan added the Vanguard U.S. Growth Investor Fund, an active domestic large-cap growth equity fund managed by Vanguard Group; the MFS International Diversification Fund, an active international large-cap equity fund managed by MFS Investment Management; and the American Century Small Cap Value Fund, an active domestic small-cap value equity fund managed by American Century Investments, to the lineup in 2021, according to a comparison of the company's 11-K filing with the SEC Thursday and last year's filing.
The funds had $12 million, $7 million and $6 million, respectively, in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31, the new filing shows.
The plan also removed three funds during 2021, a comparison of the 11-K filings show.
Those funds were the American Funds AMCAP Fund, an active domestic large-cap growth equity fund managed by Capital Group; the Oakmark International Investor Fund, an active international large-cap value equity fund managed by Harris Associates; and the Virtus NFJ Small Cap Value Fund, an active domestic small-cap value equity fund managed by Virtus Investment Advisers and subadvised by NFJ Investment Group.
As of Dec. 31, 2020, those funds had $11 million, $7 million and $5 million, respectively, in assets in the plan, according to the prior 11-K filing.
The reasons for the changes were not provided in the new 11-K filing.
As of Dec. 31, the Savings Plan for the Employees of NewMarket Corp. and Affiliates had $480 million in assets, according to the new 11-K filing.
