New York State Deferred Compensation Plan, Albany, is searching for a transition manager.
The $33.8 billion 457 plan issued an RFP due to the upcoming expiration of current transition manager BlackRock's contract, said David Fischer, the deferred compensation plan's executive director, in an email. The firm is invited to rebid, Mr. Fischer said.
The RFP is available on the plan's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Sept. 14. Finalist presentations are tentatively scheduled for the week of Nov. 14, with a selection expected sometime during December.
