New Orleans Municipal Employees' Retirement System is searching for a private infrastructure manager.
The $441 million pension fund is seeking a manager that offers a private infrastructure fund to which it plans to commit $20 million to $30 million, according to an RFP posted on NOMERS' website.
The pension fund is seeking a manager with a minimum of $1 billion in assets under management.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to alternatives was 8%.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on July 2. A selection is expected on or after Sept. 15.
Investment consultant AndCo Consulting is assisting.
