New Orleans Municipal Employees' Retirement System is searching for a manager of emerging managers to oversee up to $30 million, said Jesse Evans Jr., the pension fund's director.
The $401 million pension fund has issued an RFP for a manager to build and maintain a commingled or separate account portfolio of domestic small-cap and midcap equity, international developed and emerging markets equity, and private equity emerging managers.
Mr. Evans said the pension fund does not currently have a manager of emerging managers.
The RFP is available on NOMERS' website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Sept. 18. A selection is expected on or after Nov. 18.
Investment consultant AndCo Consulting is assisting.
