New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord, is seeking an actuarial consultant for the $9 billion state plan.
The search is being conducted because the contract with its current actuary is ending, said Marty Karlon, pension fund spokesman, in an email. The plan’s current actuarial consultant, Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Co., is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the retirement system's website. Proposals are due 5 p.m. EDT on Oct. 2. Finalist interviews are scheduled for the week of Oct. 19. A selection is expected to be made by the end of the year, Mr. Karlon said.
