New Bedford (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a global multisector or unconstrained fixed-income manager to run about $110 million.
The $463 million pension fund is conducting the search to comply with Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission requirements that services must be put up for bid every seven years, according to an RFP on the website of investment consultant Segal Marco Advisors, which is assisting with the search.
The RFP does not disclose the name of the current manager or whether the firm is eligible to rebid.
The RFP is available on Segal Marco Advisors’ website. Proposals are due by 1 p.m. EST on Jan. 8. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
