The U.K. defined contribution multiemployer plan National Employment Savings Trust, London, selected independent research house Absolute Strategy Research to provide strategic investment research services.
The contract will last two years. Absolute Strategy Research will provide macroeconomic and multiasset-class data, analysis and indicators that will support NEST's investment decisions, according to a notice on a procurement website, Bidstats.
The firm will also monitor market developments in search of trends and help NEST build and maintain market indicators that are aligned with the plan's investment beliefs.
NEST has £19.4 billion ($26.4 billion) in assets.
