NatWest Group Retirement Savings Plan, Edinburgh, the defined contribution plan for employees of NatWest Group, invested in the L&G NTR Clean Power (Europe) Fund, a spokesman confirmed.
The sizes of the investment and the DC plan were not provided.
The fund, which is run by Legal & General Investment Management and renewable energy specialist NTR, focuses on clean power infrastructure assets. It invests in the development, construction and operation of wind, solar and energy storage assets across a number of European countries.
The investments are aimed at a fast transition to a low-carbon economy, LGIM said in a news release.
