Missouri Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems, Jefferson City, are searching for a board governance consultant to help evaluate the systems' board and executive director.
The board of the retirement systems, which have combined assets of $56.8 billion, also wants the selected consultant to also advise board and staff with best practices in board governance, policy preparation and review, and overall strategic planning, according to an RFP on the systems' website.
The RFP does not say whether a current firm is providing the services or is eligible to rebid.
The RFP is available on the systems' website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT on Oct. 22. A selection is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 6.
