Minnesota State Board of Investment, St. Paul, is to conduct a search for one or more consultants, according to a notice received Tuesday by Pensions & Investments.
The five-year contracts of SBI's existing consultants, Aon Investments and Meketa Investment Group, expire in 2022 and the board is required to rebid vendor contracts every five years, the memo said.
The RFP will be posted June 14 on the SBI website. Emailed proposals are due by 12 p.m. CDT on July 8, Mansco Perry III, SBI's executive director and CIO, said in an email.
Aon and Meketa may participate in the search, the memo said.
As of March 31, SBI managed a total of $116.9 billion, including $84.5 billion in combined assets for Minnesota public defined benefit plans and $9.7 billion in participant-directed plans, with the balance managed in other state funds.
