Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System is searching for an investment consultant.
The $1.6 billion pension fund issued an RFP due to the pending expiration of Marquette Associates' contract, said Erika Bronikowski, director, retirement plan services. The firm is eligible to rebid.
As of Aug. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation was 22.3% domestic equities, 19.6% fixed income, 14.3% international equities, 12.8% private equity, 11.3% infrastructure, 9.9% real estate, 8.9% hedged equity and 0.9% cash equivalents.
The target allocation is 23% each domestic equities and fixed income; 15.5% international equities; 10% each infrastructure, private equity and real estate; and 8.5% hedged equity.
The RFP is posted on the county's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CST on Jan. 4. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
