Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System is searching for a core-plus fixed-income manager to run between $130 million and $150 million.
The $1.7 billion pension fund is seeking proposals from managers with at least $2 billion in assets under management that have managed at least $1.5 billion in the proposed strategy, according to an RFP posted on the county's procurement website.
The reason for the search is not provided.
As of Nov. 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to fixed income was 13.8%; the target is 20%, according to its most recent available investment report.
The RFP is available on the county's procurement website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT on June 9. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
Investment consultant Marquette Associates is assisting.
