Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System is searching for private credit managers to which the system plans to commit $30 million to $65 million.
The $1.8 billion pension fund will only consider evergreen commingled strategies, according to an RFP posted on the county's website.
The RFP did not disclose a funding source. According to its most recent available investment report, as of April 30, the pension fund did not have any allocation to private credit.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT on July 16. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
Investment consultant Marquette Associates is assisting.
