Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System is searching for a manager to provide volatility risk premium services for a portfolio of between $40 million and $65 million.
The $1.9 billion pension fund will consider only commingled funds with at least a monthly liquidity term and at least a three-year track record, according to an RFP posted on the county's procurement website.
The pension fund's most recent investment report shows a $76 million defensive equity portfolio managed by Parametric Portfolio Associates as of June 30, but the RFP does not say whether there is a current manager providing specifically these volatility risk premium services.
The RFP is available on the county's procurement website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT on Oct. 18. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
Investment consultant Marquette Associates is assisting.
Erika Bronikowski, director of retirement plan services, could not be immediately reached for further information.
