Milford (Conn.) Pension and Retirement System hired Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Eagle Capital Management and Miller Value Partners to run a total of $51 million in active domestic large-cap value equities.
The $453 million pension fund's board approved the hiring of the managers at its Nov. 18 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
The minutes do not disclose how the portfolio will be split, or the funding source. The pension fund's board had approved a new asset allocation at its Aug. 18, but further information was not available.
Investment consultant Beirne Wealth Consulting assisted.
Tania Barnes, human resources director, was not available to provide further information.
