Miami Gardens, Fla., is searching for an investment consultant for its $17 million 457 plan.
The city is seeking proposals from firms that provide investment advisory services, including conducting an initial review of the plan's fiduciary compliance, as well as an initial analysis of the plan's investment management, provide quarterly reports to the city's human resources staff and also assist with an RFP process for record keepers at some point, according to an RFP posted on the BidSync procurement website.
The current record keepers are Ameritas and ICMA-RC. Whether a firm currently provides consulting services, and whether the firm is invited to rebid, could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the BidSync procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on March 4. A selection is scheduled for March or April.
