Memphis Light, Gas & Water Division, Memphis, Tenn., committed $30 million to SSM Growth Equity Fund IV.
The $1.6 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the growth equity fund managed by SSM Partners at its Nov. 20 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
The pension fund previously committed $18 million to SSM Growth Equity Fund III in 2019.
Investment consultant CBIZ Investment Advisory Services assisted.
