McDonald's Corp., Chicago, hired Empower Retirement as record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
Empower Retirement replaced Alight Solutions as record keeper effective Jan. 1, according to an 11-K filing Thursday with the SEC.
The plan also hired Morningstar as its managed account provider, replacing Guided Choice, also effective Jan. 1.
The details of any other investment options changes were not immediately available.
As of Dec. 31, the McDonald's 401(k) Plan had $3.6 billion in assets, according to the 11-K filing.
McDonald's officials could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
