Materion Corp., Mayfield Heights, Ohio, added two funds to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, the PIMCO Diversified Income Institutional Fund, a multisector fixed-income fund managed by Pacific Investment Management Co.; and the Wells Fargo Emerging Markets Equity Fund, an active emerging markets equity fund managed by Wells Fargo Asset Management, had $2 million each in assets in the plan, according to the company's 11-K filing with the SEC on Monday.
A comparison of this year's and last year's 11-K filings shows the plan removed two similar funds from the lineup in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, 2019, the DFA Emerging Markets Value Fund, an active emerging markets equity fund managed by Dimensional Fund Advisors; and the Loomis Global Bond Fund, a multisector fixed-income fund managed by Loomis, Sayles & Co., each had $2 million in assets in the plan, according to the prior 11-K filing.
The new 11-K filing did not provide a reason for the changes.
As of Dec. 31, the Materion Corp. Retirement Savings Plan had $357 million in assets, according to the new 11-K filing.
Spokesman John McCloskey could not immediately provide further information.
