Martin County, Stuart, Fla., hired NFP Retirement as defined contribution plan consultant for its 401(a) and 457 plans.
The county announced the award in a May 27 notice posted on the DemandStar procurement website.
The county issued an RFP in February for general consulting services regarding the design and operation of its defined contribution plans, its investment policy statement, strategic goals, and communication and education services, along with evaluating the performance and cost of investment options offered by its record keepers.

The plans have $47 million in combined assets. There were 10 bidders, and the award notice provided no further details on finalists.
Krysti Brotherton, the county's chief procurement officer, could not be immediately reached for further information.
