Maine Public Employees Retirement System, Augusta, will commit up to $25 million to General Catalyst Group XII, confirmed James Bennett, chief investment officer.
The private equity commitment, managed by General Catalyst Partners, was approved by the $18.6 billion system's board of trustees on Nov. 9 subject to final due diligence.
General Catalyst has an existing relationship with the pension system.
