Maine is searching for a general defined contribution plan consultant for its $575 million 457 plan.
The state is seeking proposals from firms that can provide investment performance review and monitoring, consulting on plan design and operation, and participant communications, according to an RFP on its procurement website.
The 457 plan’s record keepers are Corebridge Financial, Empower Retirement and Voya Financial.
The RFP does not disclose whether the current consultant is invited to rebid. The last time the state issued an RFP in 2018 for the services, CAPTRUST Financial Advisors was hired to replace Buck Consulting.
The RFP is available at the state’s procurement website. Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Aug. 15. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
Roberta DuPont, benefits and wellness coordinator, could not be immediately reached for further information.
