Macomb County, Mount Clemens, Mich., is searching for an investment consultant for the county's $148 million 457 plan and $17 million 401(a) plan.
The county is seeking a firm to provide investment consulting services to "augment current staff and resource needs" for the two plans, according to a request for qualifications posted on procurement website BidNetDirect.
Vanguard Group is the plans' record keeper. Whether a firm currently provides investment consulting services, and whether the firm is eligible to rebid, was not known.
The RFQ is available on BidNetDirect. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 10 a.m. EST on Feb. 12. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
