Macerich Co., Santa Monica, Calif., added the Western Asset Core Bond Fund to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan in 2019.
The active domestic core fixed-income fund managed by Western Asset Management had $7 million in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31, according to the company's 11-K filing May 29 with the SEC.
Removed from the plan during 2019 was the MFS Total Return Bond Fund, an active domestic core fixed-income fund managed by MFS Investment Management. As of Dec. 31, 2018, that fund had $6 million in assets in the plan, according to the prior 11-K filing.
The reason for the change was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the Macerich Property Management Co. 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan had $166 million in assets, according to the new 11-K filing. Also as of that date, the plan had 19 individual investment options, a common stock fund and a target-date fund lineup managed by Vanguard Group.
