Lubbock (Texas) Fire Pension Fund made two new commitments totaling $13 million.
The $255 million pension fund's board approved commitments of $7 million to Veritas Capital Fund VIII, a buyout fund managed by Veritas Capital Fund Management; and $6 million to private credit fund Golub Capital Partners Rollover Fund 2 at its Feb. 9 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
The pension fund previously made a commitment to Golub Capital Partners 11, according to its most recent investment report. There is no record of previous commitments to Veritas Capital.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocations to floating rate debt and private equity were 10.5% and 10%, respectively.
Investment consultant CAPTRUST Financial Advisors assisted.
