Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, made two new private equity commitments totaling $200 million.
The $13.1 billion pension fund committed $100 million each to growth equity fund Insight Venture Partners XII, managed by Insight Partners, and KKR North America Fund XIII, a buyout fund managed by KKR & Co., said Laney Sanders, assistant chief investment officer.
LASERS previously committed $100 million to Insight Venture Partners XI in 2019 and $100 million to KKR Asian Fund IV in 2020.
As of March 31, the actual allocation to private markets was 18.2%; the target is 20%.
