Louisiana School Employees' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, committed $30 million to Henderson Park Real Estate Fund II.
The $2 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the opportunistic real estate fund managed by Henderson Park Capital Management at its meeting Monday, said Matthew Freedman, chief investment officer, in an email.
LSERS previously committed $30 million to Henderson Park Real Estate Fund I in 2018, and made a follow-on commitment of $10 million to that fund in 2019.
As of Dec. 31, the actual allocation to real estate was 12.1%; the target is 12%.
