Louisiana Deferred Compensation Commission has issued an RFP for a firm to provide third-party administration and record keeping services to the State of Louisiana Public Employees Deferred Compensation Plan, Baton Rouge.
The current contract for administration and record keeping of the plan expires on Dec. 31.
The period of any contract resulting from this RFP is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about Jan. 1, 2026, and continue through Dec. 31, 2030. The State of Louisiana has the right to contract for up to 10 years, including renewals, upon approval.
The deadline for receipt of proposals is May 9, 2025, at 4:00 pm CST. An announcement of the winning contractor will be made on July 31.
A spokesperson for Wilshire, the plan's consultant which is assisting with the search, said the current record keeper Empower Retirement, will be permitted to rebid.
The plan had assets of about $2.35 billion as of Dec. 31.
