Louisiana Municipal Police Employees Retirement System, Baton Rouge, committed $25 million to Dover Street X.
The $2.2 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the secondary private equity fund of funds managed by HarbourVest Partners at its July 15 meeting, said Benjamin Huxen II, executive director/general counsel, in an email.
As of June 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 3.8%; the target is 5%.
Investment consultant NEPC assisted.
