Louisiana Firefighters' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, will launch a search this spring for a custodian.
The $2.2 billion pension fund's board approved a timeline for an RFP process at its Feb. 9 meeting, a webcast of the meeting showed.
The board is scheduled at its March 9 meeting to approve a draft of the RFP, and advertisements are scheduled to begin April 3, according to the timeline shown in the webcast. The timeline did not reveal whether current custodian Bank of New York Mellon is eligible to rebid, nor did it reveal where the RFP will be posted.
Proposals will be due June 9, and the board is scheduled to name finalists at its July 13 meeting. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for Oct. 12, with a selection expected to occur sometime before the end of the year.
