Los Angeles Unified School District is searching for third-party administrators for its 403(b) plan.
The district is seeking firms to provide third-party administrator services to coordinate plan contributions, compliance, administration and transactions, according to the RFP posted on the district's procurement website.
According to the RFP, the selected administrator will "assist the LAUSD in complying with the final 403(b) regulations" regarding active product providers and legacy 403(b) product providers.
There are 26 active 403(b) plan providers serving district plan participants, and about 167 legacy providers, according to the RFP. Further information on current providers, as well as the total asset size of the 403(b) plan, was not immediately available.
The RFP is available on the district's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. PST on Feb. 15. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
