Los Angeles City Deferred Compensation Plan plans to launch a search for an investment consultant sometime in April.
The $8 billion 457 plan is planning to issue an RFP sometime in April because of the impending expiration of current consultant Mercer's contract on Dec. 31. The firm is eligible to rebid, said Steven Montagna, executive director.
The RFP is to be posted on the city's procurement website. The date the RFP will be posted and the proposal due date have yet to be determined.
A memo included with materials for the plan's board meeting Tuesday showed the plan hopes to make a selection sometime in the fall.
