Leesburg, Va., is searching for a general defined contribution plan consultant for its $30 million 457 plan.
The town is seeking a consultant to advise the town on the structure and governance of the plan, along with recommendations on its investment options lineup, according to the RFP posted on the town's website.
The selected consultant would also assist the town in a search for a record keeper because current record keeper MissionSquare Retirement's contract is due to expire Jan. 2, 2024, according to the RFP.
The RFP does not disclose the name of the current consultant, whether the firm is eligible to rebid for the services, or whether MissionSquare will be eligible to rebid for services in the future search.
The RFP is available on the town's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on March 21. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
Courtney Bintz, administrative associate in the town's human resources department, could not be immediately reached for further information.
