Leesburg, Va., hired Bolton Partners as general defined contribution plan consultant for its $30 million 457 plan, according to a notice of intent to award posted on its website.
The town issued an RFP in March for a consultant to advise the town on the structure and governance of the plan, along with recommendations on its investment options lineup, according to the RFP posted on its website at the time. According to a Q&A posted on the website later in March, the town had no consultant at the time.
Bolton Partners will also assist the town in a search for a record keeper because current record keeper MissionSquare Retirement's contract is due to expire Jan. 2, 2024, according to the RFP.
Courtney Bintz, administrative associate in the town's human resources department, could not be immediately reached for further information.
