Las Vegas hired Nationwide Financial as sole record keeper for its $257 million 457 plan and $23 million 401(a) plan, spokesman Jace Radke said in an email.
The city issued an RFP in July to consolidate the current structure of three record keepers to one or two record keepers, Mr. Radke said at the time.
The current record keepers are ICMA-RC, MassMutual Financial and Nationwide. All were invited to rebid; Mr. Radke said further information will not be available until the bid protest period closes.
The hiring is pending final approval by the city council Wednesday.
