Laredo (Texas) Firefighters Retirement System committed $2 million to Kohlberg Investors X.
The $196 million pension fund's board approved the commitment to the buyout fund managed by Kohlberg & Co. at its Nov. 29 meeting, recently released meeting minutes showed.
It is the first disclosed commitment by the pension fund to a Kohlberg fund.
Investment consultant Fund Evaluation Group assisted.
